Founder Edd Lee MSOM, LAc, LMT has been providing therapeutic services since 2009. Prior to this, Edd worked for over 15 years in the fields of multicultural community organizing and education, public health, social justice advocacy, and biomedical clinical research. Edd has been trained in Swedish, Shiatsu and Thai massage therapy modalities, Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Dry Needling/Trigger Point Acupuncture, and NADA Acu-detox. Since beginning private practice, he has worked to build an acupuncture practice that integrates the knowledge, skills and expertise from public health, clinical research, social justice advocacy, massage therapy, acupuncture, classical Chinese herbology, and Kiiko Matsumoto style Japanese acupuncture.
 
Patients have come to depend on Manhattan Sports Acupuncture to provide a Zen refuge from big city life, with soft Jazz, unparalleled professionalism, and clinical excellence provided with first class service, and personalized patient relationships.
 
Position Summary                   
As a Junior Associate Acupuncturist, you are responsible for keeping the clinic running on the days you work. Duties include patient care and case management, clinic management, customer service, and participation in company and clinical supervision meetings. All standard COVID safety precautions are required of all employees. Must have weekend availablity.

  • Patient Care and case management
    • Communications regarding scheduling, first appointments and intake forms
    • Assessment, diagnosis, development of treatment strategy and treatment provision with outcomes based evaluation
    • Clinical note taking, long term treatment planning, clinical supervision
  • Clinic Operation
    • Clinic opening/closing, room prep and restocking, OSHA required cleaning
    • Daily Sales Record Keeping
    • Customer Service
    • Effective, timely and professional communications with patients and potential patients
